People have the mistaken idea that aerobic type exercise is a fabulous way to lose weight from burning a lot of calories, but the numbers just do not support this.

Walking or running a mile burns about 100 calories, did you know that if you sat still for the same amount of time you would burn about 50 or 60 calories. The extra expenditure isn’t very significant huge and people get tend to get discouraged at their slow rate of weight loss when doing these types of exercise.

The key is to increase your metabolism so that you burn more calories while doing nothing and how do you do that? Simple- increase muscle mass with a properly executed weight training system, such as the Naturally Intense System.
