Are the 10 minute workouts really that short?

 

Yes, our Naturally Intense High Intensity 10 Minute Workouts sessions last 10 minutes or less and therein lies the appeal for most people. Balance is an important aspect of any lifestyle and our training protocol enables you to accomplish your health and fitness goals in a short enough amount of time so as to allow you to enjoy your life and not be chained to the gym for hours on end. It’s the perfect fit for anyone on the go!

 

 

How many times a week do you do the 10 minute workouts?

 

Naturally Intense High Intensity Training 10 Minute Workouts™ are done only three times a week so you train for a total of about half hour each week and no more.

 

 

What exactly do you do during those 10 minute workouts?

 

The Naturally Intense High Intensity Training 10 Minute Workouts™ consist of a series of free weight and resistance machine exercises designed to take you to the peak of your physical ability. The high intensity workouts are unlike anything that you have ever done before and each workout is unique so your body never has a chance to get used to them and thus improvements continue as long as you are on the program.

 

 

Is there any scientific validation to the idea of a 10 minute workout?

 

Initially when our founder, Kevin Richardson started employing the 10 minute high intensity training programs himself and with his clients almost two decades ago there was little scientific evidence regarding the efficacy of such short term high intensity training. Nevertheless he was able to refine the system over the course of decades training hundreds of people and found that the brief workouts not only helped increase strength and muscle mass, but also significantly reduced overall body fat levels and increased endurance far better than conventional weight training programs and aerobic exercises. The skepticism of the early days is long gone with the recent slew of scientific studies that supported the principles that Kevin has been employing for his entire adult life making him today one of the leading hands on experts in the field of high intensity training! I am just starting out, how hard are the workouts going to be?

Don’t let the word ‘intense’ mislead you. After an evaluation our experienced personal trainers will always work with you at YOUR LEVEL. Our clients range from individuals in their 60’s to some in their late teens. The major strong point of our Naturally Intense High Intensity Training 10 Minute Workouts™ is that it works for EVERYONE!

 

Do I have to do anything extra on my days off if I am only training 3 days a week?

Not at all. No other exercise is required for you to see results although most people tend to find themselves involved in more healthy activities with the increase in energy that they see from our 10 minute workouts and from adhering to the recommendations in their personalized dietary guides! Our system works around the idea of balance and efficiency. So after you have done your three ten minute workouts for the week you need not do anything else but enjoy your life! You will lose weight, increase your endurance, get stronger and build a lean and toned body all while you rest!

 

No aerobics? How can I get into shape without running or cardio?

Repetitive aerobic type activities such as running or aerobic machines and high impact classes are not recommended and can actually hamper your weight loss! Studies have also shown that you can build more endurance with a short high intensity workout than you could doing an aerobic type activity for long periods several times a week. Our 10 minute workouts 3 times a week are all you will need to lose weight, build muscle, get stronger tone and sculpt your body as well as increase your endurance.  We do encourage you, however to use your new found energy to pursue physical activities that you enjoy, so if you like running, you can run, but in moderation and out of enjoyment, not for fat burning purposes.

 

Does your program include dietary instruction?

Proper diet is a key component to the success of any exercise program whether your goals are peak performance or weight loss. Thus all of our training packages include a custom dietary guide designed to fit into your lifestyle and to help you get the most results from your training sessions.

 

Can I do the Naturally Intense™ High Intensity Training 10 Minute Workouts™ on my own?

Our Naturally Intense™ High Intensity Training 10 Minute Workouts™ are designed to work in conjunction with a fully qualified Naturally Intense™ Certified Personal Trainer to monitor you and direct your workouts. Our certification process alone can take anywhere from 2 to 5 years to master the system and without proper supervision and assistance most of the methods employed could be potentially dangerous and will not yield optimal results, as such we do not offer self training courses. You can make major changes to your body and health within a few months of training with us and learn valuable lessons that you can take with you for your entire life, but you will need a Naturally Intense™ Certified personal trainer in order to follow the system fully.

 

I already belong to a gym, do I have to pay for another gym membership to train with Naturally Intense™?

It is our philosophy that you should not have to pay for a gym membership and personal training and so we pay for all associated training fees. All of our packages are all inclusive and include not only complimentary membership to one of the independent best gyms in New York City but also full dietary support in addition to our world class personal training services.

 

What are the rates for personal training?

Our Naturally Intense High Intensity 10 Minute Workouts™ truly are a one of a kind service and we offer all inclusive training packages. You’ll get not only one-on-one personal training in the most efficient systems of high intensity training, but also a personalized dietary guide to help you achieve your fitness goals. Diet is responsible for as much as 70-80% of your results and Kevin personally designs and works with each Naturally Intense client to see to the creation of an eating plan that fits you and your lifestyle. You’ll have the benefit of Kevin’s nearly two decades worth of experience helping everyone from elite athletes to fitness models see their fitness goals to fruition. We do not believe that our clients should have to pay for personal training and a gym membership as well and so you’ll get a free gym membership to the Complete Body Gym & Spa included in your training package!

With our partner personal training program you train three days a week with a partner that you bring along with you.

The first thing we do is make a thorough evaluation of your current state, your goals, eating habits and lifestyle and begin the process of creating a customized eating plan that fits into your life and your schedule.  Diet is responsible for 70-80% of your results and what is great about our System is that it works to change your body in such a profound way that you naturally find yourself gravitating towards the foods that you should be eating as opposed to the foods that are not inherently good for your body. Even if you have tried and failed in the past to adhere to a regiment of better eating, this system will help you maintain the lifestyle changes required for your success. Taken from our founder’s background in Eastern medicinal practices, acupuncture and traditional martial arts, the idea is to change the body and have the mind follow. By creating a leaner, and more muscled physique as well as demanding peak performance during the workouts, the body is forced to ingest foods that will help you maintain your progress and we have had tremendous long term success with people that have very hard times sticking to their diet. With our approach willpower is not an issue- we change the body and the mind follows.

 

Where is the training done?

Naturally Intense™ Personal Training NYC Services is based out of the Complete Body Gym & Spa- 22 West 19th Street , New York, NY 10011 (between 5th & 6th Avenues) or at your home or private gym within the New York City area.

 

Who will I train with?

You will train with Kevin or his Certified Naturally Intense™ Personal Trainers Marci Saulino and Geronimo Davidson. All of our trainers are living examples of the Naturally Intense System and will  motivate and inspire you! All dietary guides are created personally by Kevin and he works with everyone to ensure that they stay on track with their eating plans.
